The story is just weird. It underplays the fact that DOD pretty much said today the investigation is over because they just can't figure out who these soldiers might be. (If only someone had pictures of the soldiers faces...) It also fails to quote the American Mulsim group as making very clear that DOD's response today is totally inadequate. And finally, it quotes the Web master of the porn site suggesting the photos are well hidden and hard to find, when in fact there's a big momma section of the site devoted to these "gory" photos from Iraq and Afghanistan, and it's clearly labeled as such on his home page.
But hey, far be it for the Washington Post to actually get a story right.
