Virginia police told Louisiana doesn't need your help in NOLA

CNN is just reporting that a Louisiana sheriff asked a Virginia sheriff to please get some of his colleagues to come and help, he was in a panic. He got 22 deputies on the road, ready to move the next day. Spent 10 hours on the phone trying to get the approval he needed to make it official. Finally got the LA state police on the phone who told him don't come, there's no place to put you up for the night. The sheriff told them, we don't need to stay anywhere, we have tents. The LA state police still told them not to come, so they didn't.
