It's official, the ENTIRE family was on stage EXCEPT Mary & partner

I just watched the tape of the entire Cheney speech up until the family came on stage and then all left the stage. Mary did NOT step on stage - this photo that I took of the TV coverage zoomed out right after this and showed that this was EVERYONE on stage. Mom, dad, Liz, hubby and kids. No Mary, and no Heather. PBS even announced the entire family coming on the stage and even mentioned Mary, except she never showed (even though she was sitting just off-stage with her lover during the entire speech).

Yes, I'm sure Mary didn't want to be the story and decided for herself not to get on stage. But the only reason she IS the story is because the leadership of the party she's helping re-elect HATES GAYS. If they were good on gay issues it would be IRRELEVANT that the gay kid was on stage. So once again Mary is denying herself, her lover, and her community in order to help the very people who loathe her and think she's going to hell.

Despicable.
