It's not much of a surprise that bin Laden was obsessed with his image, though admittedly, it's a bit amusing that he died his beard and hair to look younger than he really was. According to the report, the information retrieved at the scene was full of information that showed he was still very much in control of a terror network though let's remember who is releasing this information and what the end goal is. It's probably not to reduce military budget and end the wars around the world, so take it with a grain of salt.
