Good morning.

Six days left. There's a deluge of polling info. out this morning. Not looking good for the House.

Obama is the guest on the Daily Show tonight. Jon Stewart is broadcasting from DC this week. Of course, he and Colbert have their rally for sanity and/or fear this weekend on the Mall. I sure think we need sanity, but am starting to fear for our nation.

This afternoon, the President and Vice President will attend an event at the White House for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This is an important issue that cuts across so many demographics and impacts other issues. The White House does have kick-ass Adviser on Violence Against Women. Her name is Lynn Rosenthal. We worked together when she was the President of the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) and I served on her board. Every issue should have someone as smart, savvy and tenacious working on their behalf inside the White House.

Biden is also heading to Pennsylvania this morning to do an event for Congressional Candidate Bryan Lentz.
