Good morning.

The President -- and the Vice President -- will be in Delaware today at a campaign event for Democratic Senate candidate Chris Coons. Good thing they're both going because Coons is only up by 20 points. His opponent is Christine O'Donnell who has already sucked up way more of our time than necessary. Given all the attention to this race, one would think it's a tossup. It's not. And, many other race are much, much, much closer. Coons will make a great U.S. Senator -- and he supports marriage equality.

Later today, Biden is heading to Wisconsin to campaign for House candidates, Rep. Steve Kagen and Julie Lassa.

Later today, Obama will meet with Condoleezza Rice. Apparently, the White House is the next stop on her book tour.

I watched the MTV debate yesterday. Those young people asked good questions. Obama got several on LGBT issues and immigration. As Nick Seaver reported yesterday, the producers wanted participants to ask "light" questions. I'm so glad they stuck with substance.

And, as Obama was telling the MTV audience -- and tweeting -- that he was going to end DADT, his Department of Justice was asking for a stay of the injunction against that law. For now, DADT is inoperable. But, the Obama administration is going to court to bring it back. In this week alone, the Obama administration went to court to defend DOMA and DADT -- two laws that make LGBT Americans second-class citizens. That's such fierce advocacy.
