Good morning.
The President has a busy day. He's got all kinds of meetings -- with his Export Council and new Ambassadors and key Congressional Latino leaders. And, he's making an announcement about the "Educate to Innovate" initiative "to improve science, technology, engineering, and math." Then, he's flying to Connecticut for a fundraiser with Senate candidate Dick Blumenthal.
We should find out for sure today about the GOP's filibuster of the Defense Authorization bill. Expect Harry Reid to file cloture setting up a key vote next week. Today, Servicemembers United is holding a DADT lobby day on Capitol Hill, appropriately titled the "Final Assault."

It's Mexican Independence Day. Our neighbor is celebrating its bicentennial. ¡Viva México!
