A major loss for Minority Leader Mitch McConnell in his home state tonight. McConnell's hand-picked candidate for the GOP nomination, Trey Grayson, lost to Teabagger Rand Paul. So says CNN.
Paul is celebrating at "the spacious rolling hills of the Bowling Green County Club, where he is a member." I didn't think teabaggers were Country Club Republicans, but, apparently, they are. Or Rand Paul is anyway.
UPDATE: One very key fact from tonight: The Democratic turnout in Kentucky is much higher than the GOP vote. And, this is supposed to be a year when Republicans, especially teabaggers, are extremely motivated.
