According to the AP, there will be a runoff in the Arkansas Democratic Senate primary. Incumbent Blanche Lincoln needed 50% to avoid a run-off. And, she didn't get it. Not even close. Both Lincoln and Halter are hovering around 43%.
So, Blanche Lincoln will run against Bill Halter on June 8.
It's a bad sign for an incumbent to end up in a runoff.
