Earlier today we found out that the brother of a Democratic member of Congress found his propane line to his home cut after Teabaggers published his home address, thinking it was the home of the pro- health care reform congressman himself. The FBI is investigating.
Now we find out that 10 members of Congress have asked for increased security following threats. This comes on the heels of Teabaggers spitting on Democratic members of Congress this weekend, and calling a famous African-American civil rights leader (and also member of Congress) "nigger," and calling openly-gay Congressman Barney Frank "faggot."
Here are Chuck Todd's tweets on the latest:
RT @chucktodd: House Maj. Leader Hoyer says he's worried about the security of fellow House Dems; Calls on House GOP leaders to join in decrying threatsJed finds a Sarah Palin link to the climate of violence.
RT @chucktodd: Hoyer says any member of Congress who is concerned about threats is receiving access to security; So far, over 10 members.
