Thursday Morning Open Thread

Good morning.

Same update as yesterday. Everything "official" in DC is closed, although the Senate convenes at 2:30 PM.

The President doesn't have any major events on his schedule. He does have a meeting with Tim Geithner. I wonder if Obama grasps the damage Geithner -- and Larry Summers -- have done to him. Last year, we were all waiting for some big news about reining in Wall Street. Never really happened. Obama's comments yesterday on the huge bonuses and the "very savvy businessman," whether intended or not, didn't reassure people that he's on the side of Main Street.

Our local stations have been in storm frenzy for the past week or so. There's really only so much wall-to-wall coverage about snow storms that one can take. But, this little guy is loving it:
