A new Public Policy Polling survey in Illinois finds Alexi Giannoulias (D) leading Rep. Mark Kirk (R) in the U.S. Senate race, 42% to 34%.PPP is the polling firm Joe actually trusts.
However, Kirk leads the other two candidates, topping Cheryle Jackson, 38% to 36%, and edging David Hoffman, 37% to 36%.
The primary to choose the candidates is next week.
