Of course, it wasn't a real filibuster - you'll note the article doesn't even call it one - because the Democrats aren't making the Republicans launch a REAL filibuster, in which the Republicans would actually have to stand up on the Senate floor and talk all day long, halting all progress on the economy and every other piece of legislation in the Senate. That might embarrass the Republicans, and expose them for what they really are. And we wouldn't want that.
