Pope promotes to Bishop man who said Hurricane Katrina was God's revenge on New Orleans for being too gay-friendly

I try to avoid words like "hateful ass" when speaking of the Pope. He's not my pope, but he is somebody's. And, in spite of my differences with the Catholic church leadership over "minor" issues like pedophilia (I'm against it), I try to live and let live. But when Pope Prada embraces a Holocaust denier and a guy who thinks New Orleans should have been destroyed, all in one week, it does make one wonder whether electing a former Hitler Youth to Pope was such a wise idea after all.
