Should Muslims really be required to always denounce terrorism?

It reminds me of Democrats and liberals always having to say how much they love the troops, even when our love for the troops is totally irrelevant to the discussion. Or how gays used to always be asked to respond to every gay pedophile story. Somehow, as a class, we're expected to be responsible for every member of our class.
