GOP wants to spend even more on the floundering war in Iraq

So what ever happened to all of the earlier talk about Iraq taking on more responsibility? The GOP clearly thinks that the American tax payers are a bottomless pit of money and all they ever want to do is spend, spend, spend. If the tables were turned, you know that we would be hearing about throwing good money after bad. In their minds though, tacking on an additional $2BILLION just doesn't seem like much when you compare it to the already bloated $82BILLION for defense spending.
