Los Saicos - Demolición

The Guardian had an article about Los Saicos yesterday. Some suggest they were the first punk band in the world, forming in the early 1960s in Peru. Perhaps. For me they sound like a harder version of The Trashmen. For me, I'm inclined to stick with Iggy Pop as the Godfather of punk but it's still fun hearing such a unique sound out of South America.
