Romney flying to La. to politicize Hurricane recovery

Here's the standard. If Romney would have been flying to check out the Hurricane damage, even if he weren't running for president, then more power to him. But there's no way he'd be flying to Louisiana to inspect the damage were he not the GOP candidate.

President Obama is heading to the region on Monday. That's his job. He can actually do something about the information he gleans from the trip. But in any case, does the President visit natural disasters even when it's not an election year? Yes he does.

And that's the difference.
After claiming the nomination with a convention speech in which he pledged to fix the nation’s economy, Romney planned to meet with Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) and learn about the storm that has flooded stretches of the state. Obama was visiting a Texas military installation, two years to the day after he formally ended the U.S. combat mission in Iraq.
