Fox News: "Obama flip flops, declares war on marriage"

I guess when your clichés lose their force, you have to double up. Media Matters has the goods:

In response to President Obama's declaration of support for marriage equality this afternoon, Fox Nation ran the following headline:

OBAMA FLIP FLOPS, DECLARES WAR ON MARRIAGE

Looks like that was too much though, even for Fox. Media Matters again:

Within an hour of posting its original headline, Fox Nation removed the “war on marriage” language from its post[.]

My comments are few — I'll just add that as a verb "flip-flop" is a hyphenated word.
