Santorum tied with Romney in Pennsylvania; Romney lowers expectations for MI, where he was born, raised

From Chris Cillizza at the Post:

A Pittsburgh Tribune-Review poll finds former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum tied with former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney for the lead, 30 percent to 29 percent, while former House speaker Newt Gingrich’s support has plunged from 35 percent six weeks ago to 14 percent. The survey was taken Feb. 2nd to 6th, before Santorum’s three-state sweep. Romney also said today that he was “not expecting a landslide” in Michigan, where he was born and raised.
The Daily Beast notes that Santorum is surging nationally (no pun intended), though Romney is still ahead.

The WSJ notes that Michigan and Arizona, two states where Romney should have been "the one to beat," now seem up for grabs.

There's a tight race in Alabama too.

And the Post reports that at the conservative CPAC conference, there's not a lot of love for Romney, but most see him as the "inevitable nominee." Which is funny, since Romney, Gingrich and Santorum all seem to have sucked the wind out of the famous Republican momentum going into 2012. While Democratic momentum feels, to me at least, like its growing. Sure folks aren't happy with the president for this and that, but the disillusionment feels less than before, whereas on the right it seems to be increasing (with regards to how they feel about their own candidates).
