As much as Romney plays the "Europe" card by suggesting that A) all of Europe is socialist (especially France, of course), and that b) Obama wants to make America just like Europe, then Romney deserves the attack. You just can't play the "the other guy is too close to those 'crazy' Europeans" while you speak fluent French.
