Before a large audience, he just called himself Barack Hussein Obama. Very interesting. He did it while talking about how the change of government, from Bush to Obama, wasn't going to change the fact that we still face a threat from Al Qaeda. I think he did it in order to say that even though we now have a president who even has a muslim middle name, that doesn't mean that the world is going to love us and terrorism will stop. (He also did it, I think, to make the opposite point, more subtly - i.e., my middle name is Hussein, I AM different from the guy who had the job before me.) Very interesting indeed, since the GOP, and the McCain campaign, tried to use Obama's middle name last year to imply that he was a terrorist, a Muslim, or something dark, nefarious and un/anti-American.
