We decided to arrived early in Barcelona since I have some work in town this week. Saturday was relatively nice so we enjoyed a nice walking tour of the incredible "modernisme" architecture including the Gaudi buildings. We stumbled upon a lovely little market (since the primary market was closed due to a holiday) and picked up some goat cheese and honey. It's off to the museums today since the rain appears to be here for the day.
Joelle uses honey instead of sugar so we were thrilled to find nice honey at around half the price back home.
Nothing finishes a day quite like a nice Spanish red wine and some tapas. I am addicted to sardines and anchovies.
This place was on the way home and just called us. Great Rioja (and better than anything you find for the same price in France) and we had to try the eggplant with honey and lime. It sounded too different *not* to try. I am making this when I get home.
