Good morning.

Well, it's official. Barack Obama is the nominee of the Democratic Party. Onward to November.

Last night was great. Bill Clinton delivered in that Bill Clinton way. He knew he would. Biden was also terrific. Very solid.

The big question is when McCain announces his v.p. pick. He's just enough of a prick that he'll do it right when Obama finishes his speech. One consistent point made by people from Arizona is that McCain really is a mean, nasty, petty guy -- and vindictive. We'll be seeing a lot more of that over the next couple months.

Let's get it started...this in going to be an historic day.
