Bernanke thinks energy increases might impact inflation

Ya don't say! Wow, he is quite the genius so now it's clear how he made it to where he is today. Forget his talk about giving a damn about inflation. He does, provided it disturbs Wall Street. For everyone else he has consistently made it clear that he could not care less. He is completely owned by his friends on Wall Street who brought him there and allow him to stay. This guy needs to quit carrying Wall Street's water and realize it's a big country out there beyond Manhattan. Either that or fire him, preferably the latter.
