Petraeus: No military solution in Iraq

Four years in to the war that Bush chose to start, in the middle of the escalation of that war, General Petraeus speaks:

"There is no military solution to a problem like that in Iraq, to the insurgency of Iraq," Petraeus said.

"Military action is necessary to help improve security ... but it is not sufficient."

Four years later, we've spent a lot of money and destroyed way too many lives in war that has no military solution.
