Scalia's been getting a lot of press for himself lately. When he goes public with his personal opinions on a case that's coming before the Court, he shouldn't sit in judgment:

For a justice to speak publicly about a pending case is highly unusual. For a Catholic to make an obscene gesture in church -- right after communion -- during lent -- is almost unheard of.
