Wow. Dershowitz is a liberal, but still a rather big legal scholar. He says Bush broke the law. GW law professor Jonathan Turley, who strikes me as more moderate than Dershowitz, says it's not even close - "I believe the president committed a federal crime.... the president cannot order crimes."
And actually, O'Reilly kind of made this Georgetown Law professor, Rothstein, look like an idiot. O'Reilly kept asking why Bush didn't go the court during the 72 hours AFTER they surveilled the American citizens, and Rothstein just couldn't answer the question. Sounds like O'Reilly hasn't totally drunk the Kool-Aid on this one.
