Bush does not get it yet that he has crossed the tipping point on the issue of Iraq. He sold the invasion as a walk in the park and it is not. He told the world that there were WMD and they did not exist. He talked about torture and yet the Americans are using torture and his administration wants to somehow legalize it. He tried making connections to 9/11 and they are not there.
He lied repeatedly so it's no wonder the American public no longer believes him. Why should they?
