Dean says keep Scalito filibuster option open

And he's right. It's pathetic that Democratic Senators -- like Joe Biden -- are saying the filibuster isn't going to happen:

Dean, asked if Democrats should keep the possibility of a filibuster on the table, said, "Absolutely. Of course we should."
Dean also nailed the frauds in the GOP who are going to start screaming for an up-or-down vote only for Scalito:
Dean charged it was hypocritical for conservatives to denounce the possibility of a procedural hurdle known as a filibuster against Alito, a federal appeals judge since 1990.

Dean noted conservatives had helped force President George W. Bush's earlier nominee, White House counsel Harriet Miers, to withdraw without even getting a hearing.

"How dare they have an ad saying we want an up-or-down vote on Judge Alito, when they wouldn't give one to Harriet Miers?" Dean told NBC's "Meet the Press."
Bush's vision for the Supreme Court is one that will turn back rights. The Democrats need to play hard ball. And Scalito is giving them all the ammo they need. Any judge who does the exact opposite of what he tells the US Senate he'll do is not worthy of a seat on the Supreme Court. And Scalito -- or Scooterlito as John has renamed him -- has a track record of lying to the Senate. That should be filibuster worthy.
