Here's the latest salvo from the Bush/Rove campaign against the Democrats. They are now running attack ads against Harry Reid over the Iraq War. As you can imagine, unlike some of Bush's opponents, Harry Reid isn't taking that lying down:
"Instead of giving our troops a plan for success or answering the serious questions of the American people, they've decided to start up the Rove/Cheney attack machine," Reid said Thursday on the Senate floor. "We're at war. We need a commander in chief, not a campaigner in chief. We need leadership from the White House, not more white-washing of the very serious issues confronting us in Iraq."The Bush/Rove would rather run a campaign against Harry Reid and the Democrats then actually figure out how to run a war in Iraq. Smear and attack. It's all they do.
