Karzai wants to take control of foreign military in Afghanistan

I'm surprised that it took him this long to ask. With the US going nowhere in Iraq and US taxpayers wondering where all of the money is going to come from to fight these wars he does not have much to lose by making such demands. It's probably only a matter of time before the US cuts money and military so why not at least look like you aren't' a puppet?
