The GOP boondoggle will come at the expense of DC homeland security funds. This reminds me of the countless presidential visits during the campaign where towns were left with the bill after a campaign stop. Taking money away from DC for this propaganda show is egotistical, not to mention unsafe. Fortunately even Republicans are crying foul on this one.
