CNN just reported that Rehnquist will NOT be at work today. It was reported earlier that he left his house in a wheelchair. His paper statement said he was overly optimistic thinking he could go back to work this early. He's still getting chemotherapy and radiation on an outpatient basis.
If you had any doubt what's at stake in this election not just in Iraq, but here at home as well, this should make it clear. Our next President will have an enormous say over the course our nation's life. That impact could last for a GENERATION with Supreme Court appointments.
